I had a same year civic at 315,000, but it had no power, ran terribly, and sounded and smoked like a diesel
and the seats... wow the seats. Cannot imagine civic seats nearing a million miles

Possibly, but that auction site tends to lists the mileage on all cars over a certain age as "exceeds mechanical limits" (five digit odo) or "not actual/unknown."

Well I didn't know that, but even if the mileage was half it would be impressive. I think it must have been a delivery or company car at one point.
